Mars and More uses the NASA Open APIs, https://api.nasa.gov/, for mars rover photos and astronomy picture of the day. While no user info is sent to do these API calls, as with any standard http request they can see the user's IP which they can use to monitor use of their service. Mars and More also uses the Met Collection API to show Mars and Venus themed Art, and as they say: "The Museum's Privacy Policy applies to The Met Collection API. The Museum will monitor, collect and store IP addresses, usage information to monitor service load and analyze and improve the API." No personal information is sent in these calls to the MET API but as stated they can see the user's IP as with any http request. https://www.metmuseum.org/information/terms-and-conditions
