input type="hidden" name="lastpage" id="lastpage" value="mars.php" to reflect the value of your page such as http://my-site/get-a-scope.php. You can then, if you use the field names i use E.G. Day, Month, Year, etc, post to city-search.php and receive a post back from city-search.php.
My java servlets, currently one, that interact with the swisseph package are open source. mars.html can be accessed via view source. mars.php will be released soon. The cities database i'm using is Copyright 2006 by Halloran Software. Currently I have not documented the code but I will get around to that in the next week or two. I am going to concentrate on cleaning up the code and documenting it for the next release as the next step before moving on to improving the servlet/s.
I am writing now what I call first and second layer pages. the java servlet is first layer and open source. mars.hml/php is second layer, it allows you to enter info and post to the servlet. It is available as mars.html via view source and the php version will be available. I would like to and plan on adding a third layer that manages saved info attached to an account and posts this info for registered members to the second layer pages so that the info doesnt have to be manualy filled in each time. As this outer layer mearly interacts with the second interior layer its not required to be open source and i have decided at this time to keep it closed source. All code that interacts with the swisseph package or displays output of the swisseph package is required to be open source and will be both open source and supported.
The first and second layer will be fully functional and work for anyone trying to use my code. People not registered will interact directly with second layer pages that are open source. Only second layer pages will be able to post to the servlets and the third layer will post to the second layer. If you do not have a third layer it wont matter in your use of the second layer pages. Registered members who start at the third layer will be using the same second layer pages with same abilities to submit different types of requests as unregistered members who start at the second layer and manually enter data.
